Yuxin Fan (she/her)

I am a PhD student in Mathematics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, advised by Prof. Bangti Jin. I received my B.A. in Economics at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 2023.

My research lies at the intersection of inverse problems, statistical inference, and uncertainty quantification, with a focus on PDE-constrained applications.

Miscellanea

I’m passionate about jazz and pop music. I play jazz guitar and regularly join jam sessions in Hong Kong. I was fortunate to study with Daan Kleijn and Zheng Yang.

Sometimes mathematics is hard for me, and I try to be supportive of those around me along the way. C’est la vie.
